Shri Atmanand Jain Institute of Management and Technology (AIMT) was established in 1996 to impart Quality Management Education to the budding managers for the modern corporate world. AIMT is affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Since inception, the institute is an active member of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Ludhiana Management Association (LMA) and All India Management Association (AIMA).

The institute is located in Ambala City, 2 Km from G.T. Road, and is well connected by road and rail to Chandigarh, Delhi and surrounding areas. The institute focuses on regular upgradation of its syllabi, in line with Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.

The institute secured 88th rank with B+ rating out of 578-management institute surveyed by Business India, AIMA and MDRA as per Business India. AIMT has also been awarded “VIDYA RATTAN AWARD” by International Business Council in Association with IIEM, New Delhi on 10.04.03. 

Six batches of MBA course have already passed from the institute. The institute is offering admission to its 8th batch (2003 – 2005) and 3rd batch of MCA. More than 80% of the students passed out from the institute are well placed in the corporate sector and academic field. The institute is also functioning as a Study Centre of IGNOU, New Delhi and the Study Centre of Guru Jambheshwar University, Hissar for various educational courses.

Shri Atmanand Jain College Trust & Management Society, Ambala City

To commemorate the memory of the illustrious Jain Acharya Shri  Vijayanand Surishwer Ji Maharaj (popularly known as Shri Atmanand Jain), his disciplined Jain Acharya Shrimad Vijay Vallabh Surishwar Ji Maharaj ,Established the trust in 1938,which has been duly registered as Shri Atmanand Jain College Trust & Management Society, Ambala City, under the Society Registration Act XXI of 1860 as non-profitable educational society. The present governing body consist of Industrialist, Educationalists, Philanthropists. 

The society is also running  Shri Atmanand Jain (PG) College, Ambala City, which is affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra for B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.B.A., M.A.(Eco.), M.Com., PGDCA, M.Sc. (Software) and is also running evening classes of B.Com. and M.Com.
