The institute gives a special emphasis to improve the communication skills, analytical ability and decision-making ability of the students. To achieve this objective, AIMT Youth Management Club (AIMT-YMC) was set up in 1999 to enhance the overall personality of the students. Since its inception the club has been engaged in numerous activities such as academic, cultural, social and literacy. The members of the club participated in polio immunization programme, eye donation, blood donation camp and hepatitis – B camp. 

The cultural events like Talent Show, Deepmala fest, Holi fest, Anubhuti, (inter institutional mega events) , Aagman and several guest lectures and workshops are also conducted regularly. Some of the prominent activities are:
